Words you'll see on our labels

Silkscreen
Ink pushed through a fine mesh stencil, one colour per screen. Rich, flat colour you can feel.
Risograph
A stencil duplicator using soy inks; grainy, vivid and slightly imperfect by design.
Giclée
Archival pigment inkjet on cotton paper, used for artworks with continuous tone.
Letterpress
Relief printing from hand-set type or blocks, leaving a gentle bite in the paper.
A/P
Artist proof — prints pulled while colour is being tuned, outside the numbered run.
Deckle edge
The soft, feathered edge of handmade paper, left untrimmed on our fine art prints.
